Peniel Institute was established in 2017 as an institute for continuing education and professional development following local market research.

Our Mission
Our mission is to develop quality industry and professionally recognized training programmes, tutoring, and coaching that will build self-confidence and motivate our adult learners to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to aspire to become great leaders of their own or that of others’ businesses or organizations, thus contributing to local and national development.

Hyacinth Rowe
Principal Tutor
I have many years experience in nursing, teaching, leadership and management, organizational and community development. Also over the years I have gained some knowledge and experience in business development and entrepreneuring which have become very useful in my current positions.
Currently I am a Director and Health Promotion Specialist at Educare Foundation Jamaica Limited, Business Support Manager for Rowe Accounting Services, Chairperson for Friends of Community Rehabilitation Services Jamaica ( St Elizabeth) and Foreverliving Business Owner.
Suzette Duncan-Coombs
Course Tutor
My professional life commenced with training in Hospitality Management. i found though that my passion lies not only in delivering a great guest experience but also in teaching/training. I therefore became a degree trained teacher of the area. For over 20 years now I have been teaching; my experience spanning all levels of the education system.
Currently I teach full-time at Hopewell Preparatory while delivering courses at Peniel Institute part-time. I am a director at Educare Foundation Ja Ltd. and am involved in community work as a volunteer teacher and have a history with the 4-H Club.
